+ FREELANCE WRITER


Wyrd Miniatures, LLC. is currently looking for a freelance writer to work on short stories, novellas, and/or novels. Any freelance writer would take direction from the Wyrd team to create interesting, compelling stories.

As a freelance position, you will be able to work remotely and set your own hours, but you will be required to stay in regular contact with the team about your progress and deadlines.

Primary Job Duties

  • Write stories at the requested length and within the requested timeline.
  • Ensure that all characters and facts in the stories fit within the established canon of the universe you are writing in.
  • Provide interesting, compelling stories based on the direction given by the Wyrd team.

Requirements

  • The ability to write interesting stories that are grammatically correct.
  • The skills to stick to deadlines provided on any given project.
  • The ability to follow direction to produce a story based on points given by the Wyrd team.

  • A writing sample (3-8 pages)
  • A breakdown of familiarity with our game universes
  • No previous experience is required, but the strength of your writing will help determine your rate per word.

+ CONCEPT AND CHARACTER ARTIST

Wyrd Miniatures, LLC. is currently looking for a freelance Concept and Character Artist. This position will be responsible for working with the Wyrd team to create the visuals for a new game line, including concept art for characters and settings. We are looking for a unique and compelling visual style.

As a freelance position, you will be able to work remotely and set your own hours, but you will be required to stay in regular contact with the team about your progress and deadlines.

Primary Job Duties

· Create a variety of art to bring new and old game lines to life.

· Stay in regular contact with the Wyrd team to ensure that all art is on target both conceptually and in terms of timeframe.

Requirements

The proven skill to draw both characters in a unique visual style. The ability to create characters in a style that matches our current game lines. A commitment to hitting deadlines and turning around requests in a timely manner. The ability to stay in regular contact with the Wyrd team. If we decide to go with your work, we will need you to be able to dedicate a substantial amount of time to Wyrd projects. If you would be unable to devote time to the project, please do not apply.

+ ENVIRONMENTAL ARTIST

Wyrd Miniatures, LLC. is currently looking for a freelance Environmental Artist. This position will be responsible for working with the Wyrd team to create the visuals for environments for our various game lines, including concept art natural settings, locales, buildings, etc. We would prefer someone who is familiar with our game settings.

As a freelance position, you will be able to work remotely and set your own hours, but you will be required to stay in regular contact with the team about your progress and deadlines.

Primary Job Duties

· Create a variety of art to bring game lines to life through the use of scenery, landscapes, and structures.

· Stay in regular contact with the Wyrd team to ensure that all art is on target both conceptually and in terms of timeframe.
