    NEWS: Privateer Press Trollblood Champions

The champions are hardened trollkin veterans, rising as the great heroes of their kriels. A tight bond links them to one another, an awareness that theirs is a greater destiny. They formalize these ties with the kulgat blood oath, learning to draw strength from their brothers and fight with seamless precision side by side. They distinguish themselves on the front line, hacking into enemies with a weapon in each hand, inflicting grievous wounds.

Cool! Love the dynamic poses and the character they have. I am really looking forward to the stats. I'm expecting something like Man o' Wars...but then Trolly

I played Warmachine again yesterday. First big game of nearly a 1000 points.

Awesome! What a great game. So many sneaky stunts you can pull off and real strategy to it.

Might buy Hordes as well now. I love the Trollkin and that big chap that they can have is brilliant.

I like them, but it is KILLING ME to see all these axes with a crooked or curved handle these days that nearly double backs on itself. The last six months has eeen these types of axe handles and I am really not fond of them in the least.

Other than the axe handle, they look pretty good.

This faction does seem to have the better sculpts.
Agreed on the handles. Also, they're too short for the size of the head.

The armor is appropriate (note the filigree comments on a certain other thread) though I think the rust is a bit too uniform.

these are definately better than some sculpts that have been coming up from them. I agree about the handles, and there is just something about them that reminds me of GW 40k orks. Perhaps it is that the guy on the right sort of has a similar pose to that one special GD ork...who knows

oh well, glad to hear the game is a lot of fun, that'll drive sales for them even if their minis aren't as inspired recently.
