Time to put my “thinking cap” on and trudge down to the Figure Dungeon and paw through the piles of pewter for something.

Awitchfire. There is no showing off anonimous though. Even if you submit them now they won't be made public viewable till after the deadline. (well you would be showing off for Nathan and the moderators)

Cindy covered it pretty well in the post above.
If you have WIPS of something you have been working on, even before the announcing of the contest, then you cannot enter the miniature into the contest due to the anonymous nature of the contest.
Don't have your friends talk about it, post links to it, point it out publically, post it on some obscure forum or anything that would go about identifying you as the painter of XX miniature. Folks point stuff out rather rabbidly when it comes to folks breaking the rules, and on top of that I am pretty good at finding that stuff as well in just casual surfing and the software here pointing me to said places (not that I go out of my way to look for them).
Keep it under wraps, and in your case Tony, I'm guessing your asking about the Dirz Four Armed thing or whatever it is that you asked about on CMON and have WIPS of in the thread of the same name. Gotta find something different there.

Adding the 'Monsters Ball' category has gotten all sorts of people interested which is great, but of course has us working overtime on answering questions and trying to find the proper answers even we weren't sure of at the time. Anyhow, here is a guideline to help out in that area.
An imaginary or legendary creature, such as a Centaur or Harpy, that combines parts from various animal or human forms. or a creature having a strange or frightening appearance will be placed in the Monsters Ball category.
Everything else that looks "human" but for minor differences, like orcs and elves and goe with into their respective category.

Yes, keep that Dirz thingy out of the contest, I'd at least like a shot at winning! :vb_tongue It's looking awesome Tony and helped inspire the metal on one of my minis.
Right now I've got two entries under way and am feeling good about 'em. I didn't get to enter the manly minis contest last time around, so I'm making it up this time.

So, I entered a figure and accidentally uploaded the photos in the main gallery section (before clicking on the specific category). I then uploaded the photos in the correct category. Will this be an issue, seeing as the photos are in the wrong place as well as in the right place?
Another question is..I uploaded the photos one at a time (I had seperate shots for different angles of my figure). Will this cause problems? This is my first time entering one of these so pardon me if I've screwed anything up.
Thanks,
Aldarionn

I deleted the first ones uploaded due to being in the wrong area, the other two I left. Pictures need to be one upload with all your views vs. several different pictures for different views, but I try and fix them if I have time, though that is generally getting shorter and shorter.
Short answer is, I'll take care of it if I have to, but if folks would be so good as to upload one picture with all their views, that would save time and aggrivation. :D
Thanks for entering and no worries and need for pardons.
