    Damn computer ..

Just a heads up - my hard drive sounds like its trying to have kittens. I'm going to be backing up stuff over the next few days in preperation for when this thing decides to give birth and completely quit on me, but should I go missing for a few days - that's the culprit.

Hrmmm - stopped its grinding and buzzing, maybe that's a good sign.

    Grrr.

Probably not, backup everything and prepare for a replacement.

    Good luck ;).

Well you could buy a mac, hard drive is sure to work fine. Same can't be said of MSN on mac though. Seems that computers are bound to give us our fair share of frustration and stress. And the worst part is that I'll probably spend most of my life in front of one :P

Yelling at it is also a good solution! Might not fix the actual problem, but you'll feel a whole lot better afterwards. :D

I've whacked and cussed at the machine and its been quiet ever since I've done that, might have learned its lesson.

Just in case though, buying some backup CD's tonight.

    Grrr.

I spit on mine when it acts up. Tough love, that's the key.
