    The new plastics

Home from Gencon and assembling my Dark Debts box, and I must say, this stuff is fantastic. Fits together like a dream. Mold-line removal is a breeze. Detail phenomenal. Very, very pleased.

The mostly empty ones? I'll try to get up some picks of the Becknoners, Depleted and Messers Graves and Tannen before I take them off the sprues. At the moment, the Dark Debts sprue only has the spare parts, extra hair, arms, etc.

I am sure I am going to get set on fire for this, but I am really unimpressed by the plastics I have seen. I find them to be very small, fragile, and devoid of detail compared to their metal counterparts.

For example on Miss Terious I am not even sure I can paint her face, it has no detail at all. The Rail Golem, looks impressive, but there is a great deal of open space that needs some sort of texture to it.

    These are just my opinions.

I agree. The detail in the digital pics does not come through in the actual models. Faces are blah and really really small. No painting eyes on these guys. Sad to say it but im disappointed in the plastics.

I have some pics of the new plastics up on My blog on this Forum. I will be putting more up as I assemble more today. Scroll up to the start to see what all I got, that link takes you right to the pics of the mini's.
I am dyslexic... this is as good as spelling gets.
