Why does Misaki need a rule saying she can hire Desperate Mercenaries? Are 10T masters normally unable to hire mercenary models?

And she can apparently hire the listed models as if they were 10 Thunder models rather than Mercs, so keeps her Merc slots open for others (and in the case of desperate mercs she can hire the full Rare 4, not just 2 taking both of her Merc slots...)

I think a bunch of models have abilities like "swap places with a 10T model." The ability makes them count as 10T models for those abilities.

Common sense would suggest no. It's why no one referred to Kirai as the the "non-Caucasian Master" and stopped referring to her as "the Asian Master" once they actually knew her name. We know these guys' names and their adoptive faction, we don't need irrelevent distinctions period.

Might have missed this in another thread but quick question. Does the Storm of Shadows book have rules/entries for Avatar versions of the new masters? I know minis for them would probably be a good ways off even if so but I'm curious to see see if they've already laid the ground work for it or not to correspond to the other masters already available.

So there is actually a list of Outcast Minions that Misaki is limited to when hiring non-10T minions. If so, that kinda sucks... I've spent all night last night reading up book 1-3 Outcasts and wished that she could hire other Minions... oh well, I bet most of the 10T Minions are good anyway.

Oh wow, that's awesome then.. I was thinking of bringing in Jack Daw or Killjoy in her list.. LOL I dunno if there are synergies but just because...
