    Cutting the new plastics???

Considering the legoic nature of Wyrd's new plastics...what cutting implements would be best to have at hand?

Is this stuff too much for an exacto blade?
I could see legos being difficult for a cutters too...at least getting clean cuts without stressing the surrounding material.

A little concerned about that myself........I assume it isn't too thick where it is connected to the sprue so side-cutters should be good for that....but if you want to make conversions, a mini-saw might be better.

The parts that attach the plastic arn't that strong you should be able to easily cut it. I could clip of a piece with my nails so a blade shouldn't have any trouble.

I might of exaggerated a little about the lego density of the plastic. If pushed hard enough you can break it with you hands. Personally I would never used an exacto blade to remove models from spruces. I use metal clippers made for cutting metal models. Its angled to cut close to the model and you don't have to worry about cutting your finger off. Lol

Place the sprue on the cutting matt, board, whatever and push down with a scalpel, if you are confident enough you can cut close to the model or leave a bit to clean afterwards.
Actions speak loader than words, unless you're beating the crap out of a mime of course.
