So how much access do the multiple faction masters get to 10T minions if the declare for 10T?
Can you make a D Debts crew supported by archers, misaki's ninjas, and a rail golum?

There is a two page rubric in the book that let's us know exactly what each master can hire as Ten Thunders, then as the other faction.

Looking over it, yes to the archers and ninjas, no to the golum.

There's a lot of nice overlap, not everything is going to be available though.

All dual faction models count as 10T. So if you're using a dual faction master as a 10T master, they can hire anything that is dual faction or strictly 10t....there may be some minor restrictions by model type...like animosity or some such, I'm not sure about that but most are available.

Also, each dual faction master has specific things that they are allowed to hire at no extra cost.....like Misaki can hire Taelor and some others and Jakob can hire Candy and Kade and some others.

So, you could use your example list except for the golem since it is arcanist only....but you could use Kang. (I think Mei can always hire the Golem though as one of her specific hirees)

Edit: For example, I like to run Misaki with the Arcanist dual-faction model 'Kang' and with the Neverborn dual-faction models 'The Illuminated' along with the straight 10T models....Yamaziko, Ototo, Archers, Torakage.

Huh? I thought that all the models in the Dark Debts box would be dual-faction since the box has both colors...oh well...my bad.

Yeah, the box sets are designed to be good starters for the Master in question, and can be used whether your playing the master as 10T or their original faction. They are not necessarily a collection of all the dual faction 10T minions in the given faction, can you imagine Dark Debt being Jakob, Hungering Darkness, Mr. Tannen and Mr. Graves.

Hmmm. This rubric business makes me a little sad that I didn't order the book. Oh, well. I'll just have to wait; although it makes me wish that the starters had a mini-rubric for their individual 10T master, just to help out fresh players who might be confused about the whole dual-faciton business. Apart from the special master-specific hires, though (did we need more complication in a faction with Yan Lo's Chi trees, Mei Feng's combo buttons, and McCabe's Mystery Box?), it looks pretty intuitive, so long as you remember that you declare your faction before you build your crew. If Mei Feng is a 10T master, she's drawing her minions from the 10T pool.

Is there any clarification in the book about the original Misaki and the Ten Thunders Brothers? The TTB have the 10T trait, but is a trait the same as a faction alignment? And Misaki1 doesn't have the 10T trait at all; does a 10T crew pay the Merc tax for hiring her?

Misaki in Book 1 is running away from her family and destiny so she remains just Outcast.

Interesting! Will they be updating the ten Thunder Brothers card to reflect that at any point? I don't have any yet, but would probably hold off until the card change if it's coming...
