Totem Casting Question
Probably a stupid question but couldn't find it in the actual book or on the card and for some reason having trouble wrapping my head around it. When using a totem's Magical Extension ability, you use all of the master's spell's stats when casting (required casting cost, Range, target, etc). When determining if you successfully hit the casting cost total to get the spell off, do you use the totem's CA stat cause they're the one casting the spell or do you use the master's CA stat? I have assumed you use the totem's ability stat for that since they're the one using it but I just wanted to confirm that was the case cause it does make casting a master's spell through a totem harder and if I've been handicapping myself with that, I'd like to know. Thanks!

You use the Totem's Ca, yes. This isn't always so bad. Perdita's Totem, for example, has a
on its Ca, making it actually a little easier to cast Obey with it, even with a lower number on it. But you can Channel it, and they're allowed to use a Stone on it if it really has to be cast.

Also notice you don't get the spell triggers of the master.

Thanks for the responses! Yeah it sounds pretty much like I thought it worked, I think I was just over thinking it.
