I'm not quite as slumpy as some of the group (sorry to hear about the failed experiments and other frustrations people have been experiencing :-<), but there's a big part of me that just wants to be a lump in front of the TV or play some games or whatnot. I gained some extra time over the past couple of days while hubby was on a business trip which I'll lose in the next couple of days to appointments and Thanksgiving dinner, so I'm coming out pretty much even time-wise. I'm very grateful my new lamp has arrived already, I didn't even think about losing so many standard business days this week to the holiday when I ordered it. I'll try and get a WIP up later today.

Well, still slow-going for me. I had wanted to get enough work done on my lighthouse/rolling-pin/traffic-cone/coat-hanger WIP to post a new one, but did not get a chance yet. Hopefully tonight I will be able to finish that. The good news is that my miniature has arrived, although I still have to complete the finishing/priming part before I can even begin the painting part.

Getting back in the groove. Decided I need to do Cyclops first so I could figure out stylistically what I'm going for before trying to beat the reds into submission and get them to do anything specific. So the blues are done, I'm about to start the blacks and then I'll go to the golds. Unfortunately my eyes are wonking out on me. I'll be fine focusing for about an hour, hour and a half and then I just wont be able to focus and I'll have to take a half hour break. I put my glasses back on and it take ten minutes for the world to stop warbling, not exactly conducive towards good painting. Hopefully it will turn out ok and I wont end up with me having been painting something that looks entirely different to everyone else.

Hey, my recent blood tests clearly show me low on iron in my blood. Not enough to concern the doctor, it's normal for my condition, but enough to explain why I still feel crappy. He says 2-3 more months and I'll be better...so when does the next Iron Painter start?!
IMMPS Rule #1: Friends don't let friends paint drunk. ehem. Friends don't let friends paint drunk, unless they are painting plaid. er...Friends who drink with friends must paint plaid.

Try to look on the bright side, Sculpta, maybe you can act all pitiful and milk it to wring extra sympathy Christmas presents out of your relations? ;->
