Avatar Ramos and Watcher
Got a Brawl coming up, so I am busy finishing off a combined Hoffman/ Av Ramos crew. I did Ramos about 8 months ago, so I am just glad I could remember how I painted him!

The Watcher's body and Ramatar's legs are done with Vallejo Liquid Gold, an alcohol-based paint. Best gold paint there is, IMHO. I lightly brush it on over a dark brown base coat, which seems to give the best results.
The Watcher's wings as well as the shading on the "pawn" shaped part of its base were done with the airbrush.

Ramos, aRamos and Watcher are looking great-- keep the pics coming!
It is Chaos Black. You are likely to be eaten by a sprue.

Thanks. I used Necron Abyss as a base, and then highlighted up by adding increasing amounts of Rotting Flesh, adding white for the last two highlight layers. Then I gave it a wash of Thraka Green to bring it all together.

I really like these. How come you didn't use the electric arch for aramos? Just wondering.
But I really like how you did his coat as well.

The arc and his hands are pinned, but I am not sure if I will use it or not. I quite like it like this

Excellent work on all of these, Ramos's coat is what really stands out, wonderful, smooth highlights there. The metallics look great too. It may be the pic but the lens on the Watcher looks a bit too flat.

Fantastic work they look great. Just had the same problem of having to remember how I painted a master to do the avatar but your colour matching is great.
