The proper way to skin a dog?

I have recently acquired Dr. Douglas Mcmourning as my next master. Alas I do not know tthe proper order of spells and attacks to the the most amount of BP on turn one. My searc-fu is weak and I couldn't find much on a list for the the most out of yyour canines.

I do not want to play Mcmourning as a summer though. I want to collect Bps to use in battle for (+1) passion for his work and other killers spells and bring in a RN later in the game once other bard parts are collected. Any help?

Interstingly enough I played a 14ss game and had the zombie chihuahua wracked in pain twice on mcmourning to give him 2 bps. Next Mcmourning wracked with pain on little ddoggie for another bp. After that he dissected the llittle bugger for 3 more bps. This gave me 6 bps once he died and Doug healed up from using melee strike/spell. I didn't get a flesh
Construct on turn one but it didn't bother me exude I didn't have the cards anyways. It probably wasn't the best way to go about it either but it was fun messing around (my friend was learning in the process).

How did you cast wracked in pain twice with the Chihuahua? Only way I know of to do that is to use the nurse to reactive the chihuahua, which seems like a waste of points in a 14ss game.

Use chihuahua to cast Wrack once on doggie, a totem can only cast one master spell each turn, - 1BP
Cast Wrack with Doug on Chihuahua - 1BP = 2BP
Trigger Scalpel Magic if possible to kill Chihuahua - 1BP + 2BP from CC =5BP
    Strike the doggie to kill it - 1BP + 2BP from CC = 8BP
Scalpel Sling to Dead Rider after it has moved up a bit in the field - 1BP = 9BP on turn one.

The chihuahua did wracked with pain twice on mcmourning. I only did it once to the chihuahua.
But I jut read I did it wrong as magical extension can only be cast once Per turn

My main goal is to have enough bps for one flesh construct by the end of turn one then use the leftovers for fast for the rest of the game.

Totally forgot ME is once per turn lol. Last game he wracked himself twice and gave McM a total of 4 bp's (b2b).
Malifaux 2E? And you're actually changing things that should have been changed a while ago?
I can smell the butthurt from here.

Is it better to dissect a dog or to try to get scalpel magic?

    Some things I have noticed about McMourning and chopping up his own for parts;

First off in my opinion Dissection is one of the worst ways to get body parts if it leaves a corpse counter upon death. The spell gives you 3 body parts, which would be the same if you hit them with your scalpel and then harvested the corpse counter. Thus its uses are for in my opinion the very good moderate and nasty severe damage, and getting that many body parts from stuff that don't drop corpse counters.

The thing about getting body parts on the first turn is that to maximize it you often have to forgo McMourning's movement for the turn. This will really depend on your Strategy and your opponent if you are willing to lose the time. There are ways to make up this time a little but it all has to be weighed. It also has to be weighed against how much you are willing to kill for body parts. Personally I would try to lose at most a 2ss model like a desperate mercenary or canine remain for 4-5 body parts and still be able to move up field quite a bit if necessary.

    I usually do
canine remains defensive stance and move
chihuahua channels wracked with pain on canine +1bp
McM wracked on chihuahua try to cast with mask +1bp
scalpel magic free swing at chihauhua to kill it +1bp pick up corpse +2bp
scalpel swing at dog kill it and pickup corpse +3bp

8 total bps for 3 ss of models mcm is 5 in up with only using 1 general AP if you triggered scalpel magic so he can still outrun most of his crew first turn if necessary.

Even better than my method.. Especially if lacking Dead Rider or if rather sending that far away.
