Slight confusion about channeling

Hello all. Quick question, possibly foolish... I'm reading over my Dead Doxie card and notice the Flirtatious Wink ability, which says "when casting or channeling Inviting Approach." Simple enough, but Inviting Approach is a (0) action, and Channeling specifies that you cast a (1) when channeling at the cost of (2) AP, it never mentions (0) spells at all.

So here is the question part, does that mean a (0) spell can indeed be channeled? And if so, does it still cost the (2) AP as normal? I am most likely over thinking this as I do that from time to time, but I'd like to be sure I'm getting it right.

AFAIK, one can not channel a (0) spell. The wording is a bit confusing in this instance but like Lilitu's Dark Beauty it's a clarification that the ability works for both Casting and Channelling actions (if you could make them for any reason).
