Illinois, Plainfield: Wandering Dragon - Demos Saturday mornings 11am-1PM'ish

Hi,

Saturday mornings we will be having a table reserved and board setup for new player demos of Malifaux.

My son will be helping with the demos as he is helpful getting kids his age interested.

last week turned into more of just open gaming, hoping to snag some new folks today.

I will NOT be there this Saturday. My son gets back from Boyscout summercamp at noon and I have to pick him up.

Demos will continue every Saturday from 11am-1PM, but with added "group painting" for anyone that is looking to have a regularly scheduled time to get things done.

Foot traffic has meant that I have not been demoing "full-time" while there, so it seems like a good opportunity to get some progress in on the 35 unpainted models we still have. (So that I can actually sleep a little in the week leading up to next year's adepticon)

So, anyone interested in painting/talking come on out Saturdays!

I just hope that my painting "skills" do not scare anyone away from the game. ("Daddy, why is that strange man yelling at his ugly model?")

Up there again, same bat-time, same bat-channel... Cleaning up a bit of my Seamus butchered-paint-job and finishing off another model hopefully. (And demoing for anyone I can shanghai!)

Once again, setting up shop at WD for demos and painting. (Its really more of a clinic on how NOT to paint)

I will be there around opening, so 11'ish.

I have a hard-stop at 1PM because of other plans.

Between our regular gaming night tonight and Saturday, I hope to have our plans laid out for our first tournament, so come by tonight or Saturday and just talk if you want to discuss what we can do.

My Saturday demos/painting are on hiatus until October 13th...

I am running the Chicago Marathon and my Saturday long runs are reaching a point where I want to come home, shower and take a nap instead of packing up and sitting in a chair for 2 hours.
