Foam and oranization
For those of you, like me, who use pluck foam trays for mini storage and transportation what has been the most effective way of organizing your minis?
Do you like to stand up big guys or lay them down?
What size trays do you you like
Right now I have 2 2 inch trays and I cant fit most of my minis in them. I keep the rest in an old art tool box with some other foam bought cheaply.
Most of my big fellas lay flat and dont stick out but the bad part is they take up alot of space.
I was thinkin of getting a 3 inch tray to remedy that and make them stand.
My other 2 inch tray of foam has been organized and reorganized and replucked severaltimes and is getting pretty ragged. Is it best to have minis lying flat? I have seen this commonly with 30mm based minis in a 1.5 inch tray. Is this the most space efficiant way while still protecting your minis?
Right now my ht. 2 models are standin up in a 2 inch tray. The 30 mm base takes ip a small square of 4 little foam "nuggets". The bases are a tight squeeze and I dont like it much when pulling fragile guys out.
I have had mechanical doves bend here and there maily while pushing them back in.
What have you all found most efficiant while still protecting your warriors?
