Aah...this is extremely pleasing! Finally reward for our efforts, as we went from bottom straight to the top. Achieving both of our primary objectives is great, but we did suffer from the Arcanist assault.

Let's see how hard it will be to stay at the top, since so far, no faction has been able to maintain lead for more than one week. That being said, we are the first to take over a "main" sector from another faction.

    Against the Guild

We did it! We got into downtown...this raid will be recorded in the history of Malifaux. Let the guild remember that they are on our playground. Downtown is ours, but it is now heavily contested. We can expect heavy retaliation in this sector so...that is why we will leave an evil terror to defend it: The Dreamer. When defending downtown, if possible, pick the Dreamer as he gains alot from the bonus as detailed in the previous posts.

When attacking the guild, there is one territory that is within reach; Western Slums. It is not very useful, but probably our best bet for now, while the Arcanists and Outcasts will logically try to take the Northern NCZ. I am very tempted to go for Northern NCZ as well, but with three factions attacking there this week, the defender would get more defensive points overall.

This being said, we can give the guild some slack and turn our claws and fangs elsewhere for now.

    Against Arcanists

The magic hats have made a mistake...they took something from us! The Southern Docks were ours, and shall remain so. If you have to fight them, attack the arcanists there to reclaim our territory. Nothing else in their sphere of influence is within reach.

    Against Resurectionists

We took the Burns, our little piece of personalised hell. Nekima said she'd like to make it her home...so don't loose it. It will honestly be hard to defend as we only have 10 sector points ahead. It is worth 2 sector points so we must keep it. If you have to attack the corpses, there's no better place than their very lair (Deadwalks City). Both Howling Slums and Southern Slums are out of reach...and they are worth just one CP.

    Against Outcasts

The rats still squeak and sleep within our Warehouses! We did try, but not hard enough. This territory is important, because it is worth 2 cp, and it is starting to interest the Arcanists (they have no better options).

So our targets for this week (as of saturday, august 4th), my suggestions are the following:

The Guild : #1 Western Slums
    Arcanists : #15 Southern Docks
    Resurectionists : #9 Deadwalks City
    Outcasts : #6 Warehouse District:

So as you can see, the outcasts are on the table, please get some pig's blood for Nekima.

Excited to get my games in this week. Since I have been flipping defender a lot I think chompy might come out of the bag this week.

That's a pretty amazing achievement: we managed to stay in the lead 2 weeks in a row, something no other faction have made as far as i recall.

Our performance in defending Downtown have proved to be exceeding my expectations. We created a large 51 sp gap between the guild and us, meaning that we can consider this territory as safely within our grasp. I assume that many players took advantage of the defensive bonus here. Let's paint it again: OURS

We also took back the Southern Docks District, and create a respectable 20sp lead. It will still be contested, but only by Arcanists.

One shadow to the map is on The Burns. There are good odds that the Resurectionists will pile on for that sector. It's worth 2 cp, and we only have 1 sp lead ahead.

    Against the Guild

So there's not much to say about the guild, apart the fact they're in serious trouble at the moment. They will probably bounce back next week though, so their position will change (Northern NCZ and Southern Slums are easily within their reach).

We're still in a position to hurt them though at Western Slums. It's their current last sector, but there is a 36sp gap to climb through, and for only 1 CP, it won't be our priority this week. Also be aware that since it is their only territory, every other faction will be forced to attack it next week...so expect alot of defensive points there.

    Against Arcanists

The magic hats are putting a good fight, they just don't hold territories that are worth as muchas ours. We don't have much to gain by attacking them, but Northern NCZ is probably our best shot, and it's worth 2 CP. The guild will also be gunning for this piece of land, so it's unlikely we'll close the gap very quick.

    Against Resurectionnists

Our favorite corpses are not in a great position, and they might not like us for their misery. There's no point in wasting time on the Southern Slums, because the guild will go all out for it. So avoid this match up if you can, but if you have to fight them, it'll be for their lair (Deadwalks). Expect alot of fire in The Burns, too...so defend our turf with passion. We -must- hold this piece of land, otherwise we loose our crown.

    Against Outcasts

The runts & rats are cruising on their own, as usual. They don't threaten us much for now, but they have stolen one big chunk of land, and it's been quite a few weeks since we lost it. Warehouse District is where its at, and at 2CP, we need it! We've been slow and the Arcanists are now in the race.

    Weekly attack target priorities:

Since i am the de-facto Neverborn general of this thread, here are your targets for the week:

The Guild : #1 Western Slums
    Arcanists
    : #3 Northern NCZ
    Resurectionnists
    : #9 Deadwalks City
    Outcasts : #6 Warehouse District
