New Player Day - Worlds at War, Scotland
Following on from the success of the demo days at Carronade 2012 and Conpulsion XII, Worlds at War is having another demo day.
Date: 9th June 2012
Location: Worlds at War
www.worldsatwar.co.uk
Unit 17a, Upper Terrace
The Mall
Craigshill
Livingston
West Lothian
EH54 5ED
Time: 1pm to 5pm
The event is for anyone who missed out on a demo at the previous events due to popularity and for new players who have just bought their first boxed set or are still looking at the vast choices available.
There will be several experienced players present for new players to get their first couple of games against as well as complete introductions for potential players.
If you fancy getting the Malifaux fix earlier in the day, Livingston Battlegrounds is open from 9am to 1pm and is only 5 minutes away from Worlds at War. For more details check out http://www.battleground.org.uk/ or PM me.

In addition to the new player day, a new league will be starting at the LGS on 9th June and running until the next Malifaux Tournament on 7th July for all the new players who've recently picked up the game.
Details
No entry fee for the league.
Domination scoring format.
Round 1: 9/6 to 15/6
Round 2: 16/6 to 22/6
Round 3: 23/6 to 29/6
Round 4: 30/6 to 6/7
No SS game size limit (30SS seems to be the most common though)
Players can play as many games as they want during each round. Each scrap is reported to the organier (me) and I'll post results at the end of each round.
Like the first league at the LGS, this is designed as a lighthearted way to encourage play.

So, the new player day was quite a success. In total, we have 5 new players attend and get some games together.

Today was also the start of the LGS League. A few players couldn't make it on the day due to other things but I'm sure they'll catch up during the week.
