Yep. all of you. Even the people on here that might annoy me from time to time...

Let me explain...

The idea behind Diablo III has had me excited since 2003 when i finally finished the second game and it's expansion pack. Four (ish??) years ago i caught wind that they had actually started working on it. I have followed it's developement a little bit, more so in the last year and a half. (when they relaunched the site and started showing off the goods) But i never really looked at the forums or read anything involving the community. I bailed out of WoW a long time ago, and pretty much decided to not go back to blizzard until diablo came out.

Then it did.

I didn't have near the issues that a lot of people claim to be having... but i checked the forums to see what exactly was going on... and Oh.My.God.

The blizzard community (I shutter to even call it that) is the most whiney, self-entitled bunch of trolls i have ever seen on the internet.

So i wanted to thank you all. After seeing that, even at our worst, this forum and all of you are just the best group around.

The Diablo forums give me an aneurysm every time I see a post in there, usually via somewhere slightly more sane like Diablo Fans. It's not just those forums, I see examples of extreme hatred and entitlement everywhere across the Internet.

Those forums also give me an increasing appreciation for the Malifaux community, both online and locally at the game stores and conventions. Even our debates here on the website frequently remain civil and cool-headed. So, to all of you, thanks for bucking the trend we see on the Internet, and thanks for being a great bunch of folks.
