    making my own custom tiles

I would very much like to make a very few custom tiles for my terraclips. will matt board work? poster boatd is too thin, even multiple layers.
I have matt board cutting tools, but will have to find a new source of the actual material.

Matte board works very well. I have used it to make several custom tiles.

Terraclips board is 1.7mm thick. Most boards are available in 1.5mm thickness. Handily enough, two layers of paper are 0.1mm each, so you can make double-sided boards of exactly the right thickness.

Sholto would be the man to take advice from for custom tiles (I am still in awe of his custom board and if you haven't seen it then I highly recommend a quick search).

I seem to recall his secret (hinted at above) is printing on full sheets of label paper then transfering those to the matt board for cutting.

I have the idea to make some 3*3 and 6*6 tiles, three dimensional, of mushroom forest (big mushrooms) and stalagmites.
I use regular paper sealed with krylon and glued with Aileen 's spray.
