I just recently signed up, about, 4 minutes ago? I am from England, South West, and am looking into starting Malifaux. Currently I have my eyes set on Ramos, he looks cool, and I like his model, and his SteamPunk Theme.

Welcome to the forums! Might be worth looking up your nearest henchman, they can be helpful to new players (e.g. finding games, getting intros, etc). Depending where you're based, I think your closest one might be Richard (user name Malandres), might be worth giving him a shout.
