Just so that you can get some rats, I guess. You can't hire rats in a Levi-Hamelin crew, but you can hire canines.

Exactly. The remains don't have much synergy with Levi or Hamelin, but the rats are obviously great for Hamelin and can become Rat Catchers, which also can't otherwise be hired by the pair together. It's a way to circumvent the model restrictions on a Levi + Hamelin crew at no real cost.

Why? You can have all the rats and catchers you want on Turn 1.

Place the Canine Remains within Desolation range of Leveticus and Voracious Rats range of Hamelin during deployment. Activate Levi on Turn 1 and immediately use (0) Desolation to kill all of the Remains and instantly put the rats down in their place. Activate the rats and create as many Rat Catchers as necessary and you are good to go. Remaining rats can move forward, Catchers follow them and so on.

Sorry for sneaking my way in here from the Arcanist faction forum but the best combo is Ramos and Colette. Ramos hires Mobile toolkit and gives Ramos and Colette a book to casting, making Colettes 3 book trigger to work almost 100% of the time and instant killing 3-4 people a turn and gaining a mannequin for each kill :O

very rarely do we play brawls, only time is when we have an odd number someone usually does a 1v2 game. Usually when it is uneven someone sits out and paints models or helps a new player ect.

best brawl combo is somer and...somer with 10extra ss lol. and nothing but a hog whisperer, skeeters, a couple bayous and as many piglets as yo can hire

I have a few combos I want to try out, my friend and I do brawls all the time unless we are practicing for league or Gen Con. i am liking some of the combos such as Ramos and C. I may have to try that out!

Levi+Hamelin has a very small model selection, but the cards they get to draw, it's just disgusting how good your hand control is with the combo :p
