Ah, well that would explain why my buddies thought they could shoot through it. 4" radius is much better.

Next question: Do I need to keep Lilith entirely covered by creepy fog or should I just plop her in a forest or something? I really don't know entirely what to do with her when I'm not trying to hunt people down.

To be exact, it's radius is 4" + 15mm. It's a 4" aura from the base of the stitched, so it's even larger.

Which brings me to another question: Is Lilith's illusionary forest 3" diameter or radius?

It's a diameter. Right on her card. Under "Illusionary forest".

Lelu is the second best choice to Lilith herself.

Run Terror Tot somewhere close (preferably behind terrain and safe from opponent attacks). If you have Nekima, you can make your Tots really long range (like up to 30" per activation, and flying, if you are lucky with your Control Hand).

Next the opponent goes, so he can take out your Tot if he sees it coming (that's why the terrain is important).

Activate Lilith, Use Brood Mother on Lelu and Bond to activate Lilitu.

Transposition Lelu with the Tot - the opponent cannot stop it most of the time (with exception of some counter-spell abilities).

Immediately go with Lelu (as he is Simultaneously Activated now) to attack the target, hopefully poison it too.

Use Lilitu to Lure Lelu back into safety (again, opponent doesn't get to move, because she too is Simultaneously activated).

The only thing you have to get right are ranges - Lilitu must be ~18" from the target or she won't be able to Lure Lelu back and the Tot and Lelu must be in the right range from Lilith or the Totem casting the Transposition. That's why Cherub is nice - very easy to position right. Primordial Magic is tad too slow, which doesn't matter if you cast the spell with Lilith anyway.

If you go with Transpositioning Lilith herself, it also is a very good idea to have Lilitu on the ready to Lure her back.

The mobility is more of an advantage for Transposition tricks though. Cherub is better for that particular task (and also for scaring off cheap objective hunters which seem to be all the rage these days).

If you use it to block sight, it doesn't matter. Illusionary Forest is a piece of terrain, so it works a bit different than the Fog. If Lilith (or any model) as even a fragment of her base on the IF's base (remember every terrain in Malifaux always has a base, even if only "virtual"), she is within the forest and gets only the Soft Cover from the obscuring terrain. But if she is on the other side of the base (not touching it), then she is behind the terrain and LoS is fully blocked - she can't be targeted by normal shooting and spells. She herself can obviously draw LoS, because she ignores terrain.

Q: All great advice. So should I take both of the twins or go with the typical method of taking Lilitu and trying to bring Lelu out? Or what would you suggest?

Risky to try to summon a lelu as it requires a flip of or for the 12/13 of masks or red joker in your hand, so personally i would just pay the full cost for him to be safe and if the chance is there just summon a second one, if possible
