Malifaux Child?!

Ok, so my question is simple. Is there ANY circumstance where somebody would get the Malifaux child?

probably not, I guess if you play Pandora and REALLY wanted to have an all child crew but that's it, I doubt I will ever buy one since it takes up the masters totem and even if the master isn't taking a totem, the extra SS is much better than the Malifaux child.

I'm hoping the Malifaux Child becomes really, really good whenever Malifaux 2.0 rolls around.

If I'm playing against a new player and want to give myself a disadvantage, particularly in a crew that NEEDS its other totems (Gremlins and mozzies, Dreamer and daydreams, etc.).

Gremlins wouldn't be able to take the Malifaux Child, due to Special Forces or Good 'ol Boys.

Someone said we should take all the broken we removed from the Dreamer and put it into the Malifaux Child... I've tried, but I can't fit it all in without him going pop.

Maybe if we force fed it to him over the course of months with some kind of mad steampunk abomination with lots of tubes and needles.
