Back from GenCon ...
Wow.
We had an excellent showing this year at GenCon and I want to thank everyone for stopping by, making your purchases and generally giving everyone working the booth a gigantic charge as we met everyone and got to talk about the new releases and some upcoming work we have in the making. It was a real hoot to meet everyone and put some faces and personalities to names as well as make many new friends.
We'll be releasing the Rotten Belles, four of the 'lovely' ladies which accompany Seamus the Mad Hatter, later this week after we are able to take an assessment of our stock and fill the many customer and retailer orders which have come in over this last week.
The other six miniatures which were pre-released at GenCon, the Ortega Gunslingers (Perdita, Francisco, Santiago, Nino and Papa Loco) as well as our remake of our first female miniature, Viktoria in her alter ego as the trench coat wearing, sawed off shotgun totting Bounty Hunter, will be released within 4-5 weeks, generally so as to allow our painters time to put some studio paint on them and also to allow us to have restock cast as we thought we had plenty but they managed to go at a rather astonishing rate.
We'll be doing some house cleaning here on the site here soon as well, consolidating and restructuring the forums (and making some additions!) as well as getting ready for our latest painting contests, two which will be making their appearances soon, the tried and true Wyrd Painting Contest: The Rotten Harvest as well as the relative newcomer to the site but full of spunk and vinegar, the Iron Painter! More on those in the near future, just get your brushes prepped.
Once again, I want to thank everyone that was able to make it to GenCon to meet us in person and for those of you that weren't able to, thank you for the many, many personal messages and e-mails that were received over this last week as well as the well wishes we received across the internet. If you've sent me a message or e-mail, please be patient and give me a day or so to recover from the trip and I'll respond in the order that I got them!
Regards,
Nathan Caroland

Sorry I didn't get to see you there, Yor. I heard you were out and about, but I guess I just kept missing you (as well as missing others).
Unless, of course, you all were avoiding me.

How can you mention new minis and not give the people something to drool over?
The Belles are over in the GenCon pics thread, but here are the Ortegas and the new Viktoria version:
Nino and Santiago

Papa Loco and Perdita

Santiago and Francisco

New Viktoria:

I think I got the right names with right minis...just let me know if I flubbed anything, Nathan!
:D
**EDIT** Fixed the names. Thanks, Cedric!Last edited by Duende; 08-21-2007 at 07:34 AM.

I promised at Gencon to make a post, so here it is. It was great to meet the man behind the minis and I've already started to paint up the Mad Hatter and his Zombie Girlies. It was also great to see how excited you are about your new game project and I will be watching very intently for any news from that front.
See you, next year!

offtopic : are you by any chance the person redstripe from anima tactics forum ?

I still dont understand how it is even remotely possible, but before I signed up I came to the site and was suddenly logged in as you O_o and it still puzzles me constantly how this could have been possible (and it worries me, because that would potentially mean someone could accidentaly log in my bank account or paypal ?)
ontopic : ahh, the mad hatter now has a teaparty
(not in this pictures.) mad hatter plus tea party/rotten belles will be my group of choice for sure.

hmm something I noticed :
ortega group = 5 members
Madhatter's teaparty = 5 members (seamus and 4 rotten belles.)
Undertaker group = 5 members (Nicodem, mortimer and 3 samuraipunk zombies.)
is this coincedental ?
