Im making a shopping list for go to Lev crew but i want spend the money intelligently. Like i said before i have a lot of undeads (no belles,no molly,no jackdaw,no drowned,no croolings, no kirai) I also have at moment 1waif and 1blister of SA so i think...
-Leveticus box.
-Collodi and a blister of marionnetes. Or is better i buy starterpack with the dolls'? i will use it?
-Desolation Engine... i dont wanna pay that money for the model but i think is a mustbuy with Leve even when i dont put SA in my crew.
-blister of Rotten Belles.
whats you opinion about that?

I would say buy Levi's starter box, a canine remains, desolation engine and play a few games. This way you learn the fundamentals of Levi and then you can expand from there depending on how you prefer to play him. Don't get pidgeon holeD into the most popular net list for him. Levi has a lot more to offer than just standing next to a neverborn crew.

This is very true. I'd say 95% of the time I take Ashes & Dust, but honestly, I've decided to start going back to my Leveticus roots. It's been a long time since I played models like Killjoy. I'm going to spice it up, and who knows what'll work for me?
The good thing about Twisted Metal's suggestions is that you will want what he's saying. Every time, without fail. You might not hire it all, but you can summon it. Get a feel that way and then start buying other things that interest you!

Killjoy in a Levi list. That was my very first "look at me I'm so clever" moment in Malifaux. Sac the Necro punk, brought in Killjoy, and then proceeded to watch him die to a pig charge with a red joker damage flip. What can I say. It was only my second or third game.

Had a tournament this weekend. 3 out of the 5 games I used Leviticus.
The 2 lists I used were
Levi
Canine
Remains
A&D
Jack Daw
Watcher
And
Levi
Canine Remains
Collodi
4 Marionettes
Jack Daw.
The first list I played against:
Pandora
2 Sorrows
Lelu
Lelitu
Candy
Stitched
Primordial Magic
Lelu killed A&D then the Ashen Core early on but the remaining models all had high Wp so managed to resist Pandy's tricks. Jack Daw put the pressure on her until I managed to get a Waif to get a lucky shot off and get her down to 2 wounds then Levi finished her off by turning her into an SPA. All thanks to Jack Daw's severed ties.
The other 2 games I used the 2nd list. First game was against
McMourning
2 Crooked Men
2 Belles
Dead Rider
Grave Spirit
Sebastian
Turn 2 Jack caught McMourning with severed ties and Levi took him out in 3 spells. As it was Treasure Hunt Collodi had the treasure back in my DZ by this point. After the Dead Rider went down at the start of turn 3 my opponent conceded.
Last game was against
Collette
Cassandra
2 Coryphee
Angelica
Performer
Mannequin
This was a tough match. After god knows how many attacks Collodi and his dolls only managed to do 2 wounds and put slow on the duet, Later on Collette raced over to Collodi (my opponent chose assassinate Collodi) cast dissapearing act, cheated in the Red Joker and burned a soulstone (his last one) didn't get either trigger he needed and Collodi dissapeared briefly. This left Collette next to Levi who promptly put her down in 2 spells.
I ended up coming first. All my best results were with Levi, the other 2 games I used Viks.
I have to say that I think the 2nd Levi list is very powerfull indeed. Jack adds so much to Levi, the extra card alone is great. While Jack can be tricky to use with melee models, as all of Levi's tricks are ranged he makes it extra easy to take down any master.
Another thing I would say is always take 8 ss with Levi if possible. I dont really agree that he's fine with 3 or 4. Every game I played I ended up with 1 or no soul stones left.
I had a lot of fun with him and will be using him again in a tournament in a few weeks. Hopefully I'll be able to get similar results again.Official supplier of Dib Dabs to the UK GT

Just played my first game today with Levi, and played against my friend using levi both with ashes and dust, and basically, my friend has never had much success with him, and attempted to use a guide of lists from here among other threads.
First game was Me with Sonia: (both games 40 stones)
I took Sonia 8 SS
Avatar - 2
Brutal effigy - 4
Sue -8
Desperate merc - 2
2 witchlings - 8
guild guard - 4
witchling handler - 7
Wasting 1 stone.
he took
Levi - 5 stones
Dog - 2
Watcher - 3
A&D - 13
RA - 8
Punk zombie - 5 (wasnt sure what to use the points on here i think)
Rotten belle - 4
But basically he did nothing to me, as i got the A&D stuck in combat with sonias avatar, and he kept missing due to stones and occasionally dying, then i move back into mele range when he re forms as he hits other stuff a little bit. Levi died turn 2 due to a lucky flip on flame burst getting severe and hitting both waifs after levi had activated.
He had nothing left at the end of the game, i had 2 witchlings, the handler and Sonia.
His aim for the most part was just to kill me, and so he got the A&D stuck in and started hitting stuff, which started to die slowly which surprised me.
He had Kill protegee, steak a claim, and the one to kill my master (not sure of the name)
But basically nether of us could see what he could have really done differently bar keeping the waifs further forward, and further apart and just hunting for any tips as every time he has used the crew, 6 or 7 times now i think, he has been tabled.
---------- Post added at 01:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:07 AM ----------
Then we swapped around and i used levi with:
Levi - 5 stones
A&D - 13
RA - 8
3 STA - 9
Watcher - 3
CR - 2
Vs Sonia with :
Sonnia - 7 stones
Desperate merc - 2
Sue -8
3 witchlings - 12
Witchling handler - 7
Ryle - 8
And this time i would have tabled him by turn 4, though we had to stop with Sonia on 1 or 2 WD at the end of turn 3 due to time. We did both notice the difference in how i used A&D in that i gave the re activate every turn, and then contorted the core away from him out of range for the most part, due to i had started with SPA's and so had some in combat that i had made, and some away that i had bought and so gave him more options.
But i found that i wasn't actually using levi to do much, perhaps to cautious with the waifs, and was just hitting stuff with the SPA's to do the damage as the A&D killed the big things, and Levi sat there to be a threat wondering what my plans were for him.

Having written all this, i am struggling to remember the questions i had, but basically any advice for my friend would be appreciated. I know he needs to remember to use Burnout more often, like actually remember it, but besides that from what ive read, people think his type of list is better, ie no starting SPA's due to they done to to much for their cost. I will be continuing to check this thread for any responses as i think my posts have not been entirely clear, but i hope there is enough to get some pointers for us to learn from
Thanks for Reading
Oliver

That's it, activation order. He did not seem to be confident on when to activate Levi and ashes, or at times who to go for with the ashes when he had a choice. And so if you have time and patience for it if someone could explain to us when it is good to activate them both when trying to achieve something specific we would both appriciate it. And again thanks in advance.

I played mi 3 first battles with Leveticus yesterday, at a Tournament in Quart de Poblet (Valencia, Spain). Yes...very risky to go first time with a master in a tournament and more if is Lev.
First game against Lilith, 30 ss : Leve,Rusty,Canine,Collodi and 4 Marionetes 4-5 i lost.
Second, 35 ss against Colette : I ad a Watcher (so nice with Leve you can see a lot of your fate) and a Wicked Doll(no smart option)
Last one, 40 ss against Kirai: Leve,Rusty,Canine,Collodi and 4 Marionetes, 3 necropunks (great option with Leve) i pick more soulsstones because i pick the scheme of having more than the enemy.
Leve is great, now i think Rusty is not a "must" and you can play fairly well without the girl, in next games i why try without and without Collodi

Not really the easiest thing to answer -- so much depends on the game. Generally speaking, you should center your turn around Leveticus. Is he in danger? Is he in a position to do something? If you take him to 1Wd, will they kill your Hollow Waifs?
In many ways, everything wants to go last in a Leveticus list. Leveticus wants to go last so you can ensure his Waifs are safe. Rusty wants to go last in case she needs to finish of Leveticus due to a BJ or similar. A&D wants to go last (particularly if Burn-ed Out) so that the enemy doesn't have much to target the Core/Storm with.
Waifs are a good early mover if you don't have anything at great risk. They can get a Defensive Stance up (if they don't need to move somewhere), and they can worry less about where Leveticus might end up (a Lured Leveticus before Waifs activate can auto-kill them... stupid Lilitu).
At the end of the day, Malifaux is too much a game about Strategies, Schemes, terrain, placement, and cards in hand to say "Always do X when Y." Keep in mind that Leveticus can Companion with the Waifs, and it is most important to 1) survive 2) get points 3) deny points 4) kill your enemy... in that order (although 2 and 3 are interchangeable, depending on circumstance).
I would be happy to give more advice on a specific situation. Sorry about the delayed response... haven't been on much!
