Essentially, he could previously move across the whole board by switching back and forth between his forms with the help of a Daydream, get into an opponent's deployment zone on the first turn, hit hard enough to kill most non-Master models, turning back into the Dreamer with his trigger, and then leaping back to his own deployment zone with the help of a second Daydream. At some point during all that, he might drop off a horde of nightmares somewhere the opponent didn't want them. He might also have put a nasty buff on his fellow Nightmares before doing that and then buried them to keep it from wearing off until he was ready to drop them off.
The errata to the bury mechanic means that switching from the Dreamer and Chompy during the Dreamer's activation ends the Dreamer's turn. Same goes for Chompy. The errata to the Dreamer and Chompy mean that the Dreamer has to use a specific action to unleash Chompy that doesn't also drop off the rest of his crew, although he can still do that. The Daydreams can now only unbury Chompy by dying, making it harder to pull him back to safety.
Tried out the changes last night and lost, but it was a close game. At least part of my loss was me being a newb with the Master... I'm pretty sure he'd have done better in the hands of someone who knew what they were doing. Oh well, chalk it up to a learning experience, right?

he still seems very strong, but not as flexible as he used to be

He wasnt meant to be made weak, just not over powered, and i am thinking this sounds like a success, but tomorrow will be my first chance to try the new crew out

This change seems fantastic. Our local LCB player plays a very thematic and not particularly competitive list (three Teddys painted like Care Bears) so he won't really notice.
I assume they'll be working on Seamus next to reduce how OP he is? ;)

I was just looking through my newly purchased Alt and Avatar Big Zs . . . and if I ever use them against Dreamer I'm looking to Hex off Nightmare friend. That will make getting LCB out a real pain =p
Just thought I'd put in something very focused on beating New Dreamer/LCB, even if they are my favourite masters *evil chuckle*

Damn, yeah I missed the Non-Master bit. And it was more that I was looking for something fun to do to mess up Dreamer.
Ohwell, back to the drawing board. =p

Wow! As a henchman, I love the balance, as a dreamer player, I'm smiling on the outside, but crying on the inside. I might even get a few players back now.
