It's a week's worth of fun, but I had no idea that the punishment for losing was decapitation. I expected defenestration at the worst!

They can't be evil when they give us so many bits and pieces to play with. Maybe if I was in the Southern Hemisphere I'd accept calling them evil, but not here in the States. My entry owes a lot to all the cool little bits and bobs that came with the Talos Pain Engine.

I suppose I'll be the first of my opponents to post. Actually didn't see first round posted until Friday. Lucky for me, I've hoarded a mass of unpainted miniatures, so I had just about everything I needed, bring on the week of intensive painting!
And to my opponents:
Vos mères puent de baies de sureau!

I've got paint slapped a bit now. Still hoping to have time to add things to the base so it's more than a single figure. We'll see... we'll see...

Right...
I knew I shouldn't have gone and looked...
You average around 8... I never got past a 7 (didn't even score a 7)
Still, you'll have to do your best, because my entry will blow you (and the judges) off of their socks
If you're looking for me on the interwebz, Quase's my name and painting's my game
But I know what you're thinking. "Did he put his best on there to score a 6?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is the Iron Painter, the most powerful painting competition in the world, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Thanks, good luck to you and Abhorsen as well.
And I'd like to take this moment to compliment you on choice of your beverage.
Dioramas are for suckers... and for those that need to compensate for other shortcomings.
Hardly! In fact, I'll spot you a whole week. Glad to see you've made some progress. Yes, yes, I'm sure that fancy diorama isn't compensating for something else...
And who says your two opponents are "guys"?
