Vik's and Sister in Sprit question
So left Lilith in the box and tried out my Vik's again who I do enjoy playing. What made them interesting this time is playing on a Sewers board with different levels.
Now the way the 'sister in sprit' reads and how the 'within' rule of the rulebook is describe am I right in thinking that 3" means as a radius and that levels will not effect this action?
The example would be could one move under a balcony and the other sister in sprit onto the balcony above?

So long as there is a path to the balcony, yes.

Why does there need to be a path?

The balcony could be any height above the first Vik (not limited to 3").
All areas of effect, pulses auras etc are measured as though in 2d plan view.
The only exception is melee range, which is calculated as a sum of difference in Ht (Base Ht of higher model - Ht of lower model) and distance apart.

Thanks guy, the clear path was a good point but apart from that I have been playing it right.
The last game I got a really good feel for the mobility this could offer (I flipped line in the sand so needed it) and noted how beneficial this is with building etc... as you can even push one around a wall into a different room etc...
Not really got the full benefit before mainly playing on a flat table with forests and bits. On a side note playing on a 4'x4' terraclips sewers is really fun, it does make a big difference to the game to have such complete terrain.
