Rotten Harvest 2011 Voting Polls are Open!
Rotten Harvest 2011 Entries are up and available for voting!
A few small changes this year:
Names, we've left them there. I don't expect this to be a favoritism contest but we've found in the past, no matter what, folks usually let other folks know, even if its on the sly, what their entry is and we've always been able to catch and cancel any vote padding. That in mind, we'll still be looking for that should it happen, but quite frankly, its less work for us in having to obscure names, then add them back in at a later date. So - you can see who did what, right off from the beginning.
Best of Show and Best of Wyrd will be voted on in house here at the offices and warehouse as a number of folks have gotten quite interested in the entries, we're going to turn it over to them to have a little fun themselves as the images are already cycling through the work stations out in the warehouse.
Remember, you can only place once per category (meaning if you submitted three entries into NQDY, you can only take one place .. not 1st, 2nd and 3rd ..
.
You don't have to have an entry into the contest to win either - we have the 'RANDOM SCHMUCK!' gift certificates which we give out randomly as well for folks that take the time to vote AND comment on all the entries in the galleries (yup, that's a bit of work, but its also encouragement for the entrants, and you just might win something for the effort).
Good luck!I'm often asked what genre and elements make up Malifaux ... that's simple, its: Steamvictoriohorrorwestpunk! Hope that clears it up for you.

Why am I the only Harrowing Harvest Entry with a single photo and no details? I sent 13 photos, most of which had details especially of the little girl (since she is the only model that is fully in the lamplight).
It would be one thing if I hadn't sent 13 pre-cropped and sized pictures or if there were other Harrowing Harvest entries with just one photo, but this really bothers me. I'm not exactly a photography genius, so this took me multiple hours to take and work with sizing the photos to fit the contest perimeters.
Sorry to complain, but one photo really doesn't convey the hours upon hours of work that I put into this contest.

Only the most recent photo would be posted, per this.

do you get three votes per catagory? or three for all the models over all the catagories?

"Due to the sheer number of people that have entered unedited photographs in the past we will no longer do any editing for you. There are many free photo resizing programs out there. Wyrd staff will attempt to notify anyone who's pictures were deleted due to size or for any reason, but can not guarantee notification."
This was in the original rules. If you download GIMP / Picasso and edit your own photos and submit ASAP, they may let you submit a montage. I don't know any company/contest that creates montages for people.
