Terraclips streets ramp question
I'm working on a street table and I'm having problems incorporating a ramp into it. As you can see from the pic if I put the side supports then it doesn't sit flush to the piece next to it. If I don't use the support on the shared side I'm worried it won't be solid. Am I being foolish or is there a better way?

Looks like real construction to me. I wouldn't worry about it.

The problem is that it causes a gap that spreads out the further it goes. If you look down at the bottom of the pic you can see the wedge of red carpet under the board. that because the clips push the two pieces too far apart to work correctly. It seems like there must be a better way but I didn't find anything in the videos I saw. Maybe there are more videos I didn't locate or maybe one of the folks at WWG can give me a tip.

Have you tried clipping the two ground tiles together at the bottom of the ramp to draw those edges together again?

You could try no putting in those L Clips for the side to the ramp. Then in memory serves, the side supports for the ramps have a clip spot on their short side, you could but a T clip in there and clip the other part to that side wall if there is a support running under it? Clip it to that support there.
If not, just put the I clip in there and if all the other clips are good and tight I think the ramp should be sturdy enough. If it doesn't quite seem like enough, take some scrap card board and make yourself a wedge for more support?
Hope that makes sense.... can't really draw you a pic and upload it from work.

Sholto: The clips on the ramp that share space with the wall next to it push out such that it would risk bending or tearing something.
Karn, the only way I can think to use a t connector is to make the ramp as normal then flip a side support upside down and use that as the shared portion of the wall. Not sure that would work due to the position of the notches for clips.

I would suggest using a triangle for the wall on the right and use "T" Clip to the ramp.

I'll check to be certain but I believe the notch positions aren't centered so if I use on triangle piece for support and then on top they don't line up.

Sorry I only got Clips in or I would check it myself. try and consolidate the walls separating the ramp from the piece next to it. In essence there should only be one wall that supports the ramp along the whole length of that connection (how long that wall is up to you but given that it is hidden I would use as little as possible).
Wow! this really makes me want my sets in right away.

It seems like this is something you'd come across a lot. There are absolutely ways to make this happen with proper support but it would be nice to be able to do this, as it's more visually appealing to me.
