I played in three Puppet Wars tournaments.

I used Lady J in the first two games and Marcus the rest of the games. I mostly used the puppets with the same suit as the master. I didn't change my army that much either.

Friday afternoon - Played against Seamus (Shawn). Neither master killed but he had three workshops to my one. Played against Vik (Steve) who killed Lady J when I got too aggressive with two wounds. I killed a Seamus player (Bob) when I switched to Marcus. We used Map 5 for the three games.

Friday night multi-player - Played Lady J (Troy) on Map 1, this time I had three workshops to his one, but still a draw. Second game I lost to a Vic player (Stan) on Map 2 who used Rusty Alice to kill Marcus. Again too aggressive with my master. Anyone see a pattern here? Three player game on Map 9. Matt used Vik and Nick who took Lady J. This was also a tie, but a lot of puppet parts lying in the scrapheap. Last game was Marcus against three Lady J players (Matt, Troy and Jason). I was able to kill one Lady J, but we ran out of time with the others.

Saturday was better. I beat a new Seamus player on Map 1. I played Matt who used Seamus this time. We played on board three and I won with minutes to spare. This was a tough game, we were both down to a couple of puppets with our master. Matt was kind enough to play so we had an even number of players. I learned a lot of things from Matt as he was one of the play testers for Puppet Wars. Last game was against Evan on Map 6. He took Vik and an all Outcast army. I lost Josh to the Hooded Rider who came from around a mountain to get a good run. I forgot the Hooded Rider moves three and attacks an adjacent hex. I was mostly defensive after that and could only hope for a draw at best. Evan played an excellent game. I killed more puppets, but he kept pushing me back and Vik did a number on Marcus. He finished with two wins and a draw. I had two wins and a loss.
