Hammy the plagued - Whoa...

So I had a bit of a play around with my hamelyn the plagued tonight. Haven't used him before, and thought I'd have a test against Rasputina.

30pts

Rasputina had
Ice golem
3 x little golem thingys
wendigo
hunter

hamelyn had
3 x stolen
4 x rats
rat catcher
nix
wench

I was actually really surprised how effective the crew was. I figured the rats would be easy targets for all the ice blasts that would be going around. It wasn't until I actually saw the effect of the rat catcher being within 6" just how annoying they are. Rats died, and just respawned.

And slow hardly seems to hold them back either. Seemed so easy to swarm models and eat them. The poor hunter deployed forward near an objective and just got eaten so easily. Poor guy.

One thing though. When the rats are summoned, they get slow but because they already have this it doesnt stack? So they still have 1ap right?

Perhaps that is why they seemed so bad!

I ended the game on turn 3-4, rasputina had no chance of grabbing the treasure and was already 1 model down with the golem insignificant.

You played the rats right, slow doesn't stack so it's 1ap and 2x(0) each turn

The problem is that your opponent played Rasputina wrong, LOL. If she targets your Ratcatchers, she still has to deal with the Armor, but she can kill the RCs pretty easily most of the time thanks to her long-range.
