Frothers Unite - UK Sculpting Contest Winners
If anybody's been keeping up with the FU!UK Sculpting Contest the winners have been chosen! Just click on any of the four galleries in the right sidebar and all entries are shown with a Gold, Silver, and Bronze placewinners along with judges comments on all entries.
And the best thing about winning this is in this papragraph taken directly from the site:
"The winner of each category will be moulded and cast up at our expense (well, their figures anyway - Ed). A full set of the figures will be given to each winner, with a few individual castings of their figure. If the quality of the entries is of a high level we reserve the right to cast up a selection of the runners-up as well, who will then also be given a full set of the figures and castings of their own sculpts. The figures will form a FU!UK special CCVI commemorative miniatures set."
How cool is that!
And for those of you too lazy to click links, here's the winners of each category:
Fantasy Women:
Miranda
Modern and Sci-Fi Women:
Beach Babe
Non-human Females:
Fairy
Sets and Dioramas:
Aspects of the Goddess
Congrats to all the winners! :1: :2: :3:

Klute did a phenomenal job on Miranda...you can see it in his CMoN gallery I believe.
I really like the beach babe...Big boobs and cheesecake aside, it just looks like a fun mini to paint. She'd be great in a diorama especially one with a horrendous sea monster about to horribly mutilate her...MWAH HA Hee (still cannot pull off evil laugh)

I got an honourable mention in the first catagory too for a sculpt.....Well chuffed.:dancing2:
Yes I have Miranda and Beach Babe painted in my gallery.
Miranda

Beach Babe

Avicenna did a better job with beach babe. I missed the mark on the base. Its actually clear with only the surf around the feet white but the pics look like shes wading in snow.
