Ugh. Just got in from work. Trying to get this project moving is going to hurt big time. Everyone seems to be on a 'well, I'll get my phd anyway so I don't need to work hard' thing. Which ain't gonna cut it.
Still, tea time at last! How's the rest of you?

That's not good. :/ I'm sorry, Mako.

I'm not doing too bad. Trying to figure out everything going on for the day, and trying to figure out how to start the next section of writing. Trying to get as much done this week as I can, because I won't be doing any next week.In a world where carpenters are resurrected, anything is possible.

Why nothing next week?
Ah, it's not so bad for me. It's an interesting challenge, and at least means I can pretty much control the project direction. So long as it doesn't go horribly wrong, and I keep slogging away, it's all good.

Writing for classes next week, so I'm thinking those'll take priority. But I might be able to get some writing in. Right now, Baiting the Muse is at right around 5k words, and I'm really looking forward to the next scene. Here's hoping I can get it done in a week!

Best get Elle on her best behaviour then!
Makes sense for classes to be the main thing, getting behind or rushing it would not be a good thing.
I'm currently mucking about with wire to forget about work for a few moments! That, and contemplating switching my painting guide from death marshals to Jakob Lynch or hungering darkness, when they arrive. And trying to resist yet another idea I've had, although this one's not sculpting at least!

Yeah, there's no getting behind in Theology Survey...any late assignments are automatically a 0. Not going to risk that, lol.
And Elle probably will be more interested in this scene, honestly. She's quite bloodthirsty, for some reason I'm not sure about...
And what's Sophie doing now?In a world where carpenters are resurrected, anything is possible.

Ouch, an automatic 0? That's a pretty sure fire way to discourage late submission!
She saw a picture of a Siamese fighting fish, so now I have to go get brushes, paint and clear resin and give that 3d goldfish thing a try.
Also, doing anthropomorphic kangaroo armatures is a pain in the ass!

Yeah, it's all down to those blasted death marsupials. I decided to give it a shot, see if I could do anthro characters. I blame iron skies, he encouraged this insanity! Have had to stick with one to see if I can get the shaping right, it's just a tweak from the true biology but I couldnt make 3 right off. Got to do a test one first.
Also made two base armatures for death marshal gremlins, and worked out the poses I want for all three.
How goes the writing?

Death...marsupials? o.o That sounds hilarious.
The writing hasn't begun yet. Been fighting with the fixtures at work, which probably won't change for a bit. Going to get in on it during my break. In a world where carpenters are resurrected, anything is possible.
