Ha, it wouldn't be any time soon, but I think it'd be fun! Two-three weeks, give people a theme and a word count limit, and let them go to town.

Well, if all it's going to be is for bragging rights we could organize it ourselves. The biggest thing to figure out would be finding judges and themes, and seeing how many would be interested.

Well, I was thinking we could either get a judge, or do a participant/community vote to determine the winner of each round. Rather than do an elimination competition (don't expect to get that many participants) we could figure out how many rounds we want to do, the winner of the Iron Quill would be the author with the highest overall score.

That could work..as i dont think we'd have anywhere near as many authors as there are painters etc..
May have to put some feelers out i guess..

Yeah, I think I'll throw up a thread in the Writer's Forum to see what kind of interest we can get by the end of the week.

Afternoon all, how's things in this corner of the Wyrld? I planned to spend last night painting, maybe writing a little, and instead got dragged out drinking til 3am. And now, my head hurts...

Afternoon Mako. It's good to see other people suffering as I had to go through that last Saturday. Why do we drink?

Well, in my case it was because I was in a karaoke bar. Staying sane meant alcohol...
Although now I remember why I swore not to line up shots ever again. When my head stops pounding, I might get a bit of painting done!
