Neat. Never got into botanical stuff...might need to fix that at some point. It'd be nice not to have to buy tomatoes...

I might try tomatoes this year but I'd have to do them inside. Too cold and windy outside for those. I grew potatoes and lettuce last year.

Cool. How difficult was it?

Really easy. The potatoes were just regular ones that I'd left a bit long and went rooty. Dig a trench spade deep, stick in the potatoes, cover back up. Once in a while when the shoots poke through the soil you cover them back up until the mound is maybe a foot above the level of the soil. After a few months the shoots die, then wait a week and dig them up.
All that is from memory so might be wrong. Plenty of guides online.
The lettuce was even easier. Cheap bag of seeds, scatter some on the ground and cover them with a thin layer of dirt. You soon see which ones are growing and can spread them out. Then just pick them when they look like what you want to eat.

Nifty. Might have to give that a try this summer when the weather isn't so insane.

Worth a shot if you have some ground to plant in. Great for people like me who forget to buy lettuce when shopping. This way I could just go out and grab one when I need it.

Dust, there' a Ale Monolith in here already,. but if you want "beer" it will have to go in it's own, the ale wont mind sharing with the Guinness though ;)
Good to see the Girls failed to sneak in their tu-tu monolith (I mean, why would they want one?!) as I had forbade them getting one in the first place (bad girls!) so I'll punish them by making them listen to Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and other cruel and nasty things like that... I just hope I don't end up with more #66s on my hands after such cruel punishments.
Oh and speaking of ale earlier, it's time to celebrate since The Walking Dead game episode 1 is out on Xbox Arcade toady! YAY!!!!
