I love the model and I will be getting one... I also like that thier is an option other than going to a convention to get it. I wish more game companies would have similiar options during con's. Thanks Wyrd for thanking of your fans who cant afford to go half way around the country to goto a convention.

Believe me if moving was an option I would have done it years ago and probably be in the USA but unfortunately years ago I took a large dose of stupidity and got married and now have custody papers that forbid me from leaving S.A. with my son.

I am sure both Nathan and Eric have read this thread and if they were inclined to want to offer me some way of getting the minatures they would contact me, but I can understand them not wanting to go down that path because if you offer something to one person then everyone would need to be offered the same deal.

One option they could look at is making these special edition minis only available while Gen Con is on, free if you spend $100 or normal price with a smaller order.

Yes but there isnt $100 worth of minis I need to qualify for this, so as the rest of the sentence reads let me pay for it with a lesser order.

Reading through this I come to the conclusion of:
    Break bank or don't.

I just put a ton of money into my car to drive to the Con, then I am going to drop a fat chunk of change to get a room, 84 dollars for a Con badge, gas, and food/liquor/cigarettes'. Plus the more than 300 dollars in parking tickets I had to pay today= break bank or don't.
I am going to the Con because my priorities are Woman, work, games, cigarettes, booze, bills. I work to live not live to work. I have pulled about 100 hours Overtime to make this happen on my pittance of a pay rate. But I drop 100 dollars and I immediately get 7% off my order with a free figure that in all honesty I would buy some day, oh and its limited edition, yes and thank you.

So if you can afford it, then do it. If you can't afford it and you want too, then do it, nobody really starves anymore. Pull some Overtime, mow the neighbors lawn, sell scrap metal. I am poor, but I LOVE Gaming and I Love this Game. (I also play REZ primarily) I hate painting houses, but I am awesome at it, I can pull about 3 bills in two days if I want, and those three bills that I earned on my off days will pay for my toys. And I LOVE MY TOYS.

Awesome Sculpt! cannot wait to do it a dis-service with my horrible painting skills!

I personally wont be getting the model. Does not help I personally do not care for, or want it. The most common response I heard to this LE model is most people are just going to buy LE Lord Chompy Bits, the Rising Powers book and a random blister and boom, there we go.

True that. Like I said, I often end up on eBay, but only because (more often than not) there's not other way for me to obtain the mini. At least Wyrd is offering me a chance to grab the Miss Pack through proper channels, and I intend to support them as a show of thanks.
