    Tips tricks and manoeuvres

I am not looking for general tactics here more for some actual turn moves that turned out to be quite useful or sneaky etc.

    for example:
I had Seamus down to 1WD and a Belle in close proximity down to 1WD.

I activate Seamus, kill the Belle generating a corpse counter. Necrotic ministrations kicks in and heals Seamus +2WD taking him to 3.
I then cast Arise my sweet using the Corpse counter and summon a new shiny Belle back to a full 8 WD.

Anyone got anything similar they'd like to share?

I'm playing my 4th game tonight and whilst we have the mechanics nailed I am still short on imaginitive moves and strategies.

Crew will be:- Seamus, Sybelle, 3 Belles, Grave Spirit, Convict Gunslinger.

    Cheers

    CC

you could've killed the belle with live for pain and cheated to make it severe and healed 5 before that. then maybe use her slow to die to lure somebody in range for a desert eagle blast from seamus.

against mortals seamus' ability to reduce willpower is pretty handy as well, since they will all be taking terrifying tests when they attack you. nothing like shooting the enemy in the back as they run away.

surrounding somebody with belles and casting ....uuuhhhmmm... can't remember the name of the spell off the top of my head, but the one that doesn't let them end a move within 3" of undead, making them skip their turn, is pretty fun too. combine that with sybelle's rough trade trigger, and not only can you potentially companion everyone and activate all at once before they go but they will most likely have to pass!

Can't remember if this works off the top of my head (don't have access to my rulebook) but here go use a nurse to turbocharge a canine remains which hopefully gets into combat or close then dies use corpse to bring in Bette Noir and introduce opponent to a world of pain.

Yep, You can supercharge a dog using a nurse to get it half way or more across the board, then when its sacraficed you can bring out Bete Noir.

It works sometimes but Black Betty is better used after someone kills one of your models, since then you can activate her right away. If you bring her out and your opponent has a turn she is pretty much dead again.

The canine wouldn't die till the end closing phase unless you're opponent's sufficiently obliging to kill a model that's going to be sacrificed anyway (which causes you to net even get a corpse counter).

    Some "classics":
    • Long time favourite for Assassinate: Necropunk runs like a madman and gets himself dead -> Slow to Die -> Sacrifice -> Killjoy
    • Hanged + Grave spirit tanking: divide damage by 2, then subtract 2 to a minimum of one (until they figure out killing the grave spirit first is a lot easier).
    • In a Nico crew when faced with a heavy hitter that has manoeuvred into charge range for next turn, activate nico himself and hit the big lug with a cheated paralyze. Messes up an alpha strike every time (if you see it coming, which, I guess, means it wasn't a good one to begin with). Works with Belles and mass slow too, but not quite that well.
All rather obvious, but they tend to work. I could probably go on for quite a bit, but I'm lazy and you might not want to waste time reading things you all figured out ages ago.

Another simple effective thing to use

Obey on your own models. Some Perdita tricks

    1) Cast obey on Francisco to give him a free charge into melee, then on his activation he can flurry.

    2) Obey Papa Loco to move or Charge to get him farther into range to blow up.

    3) Obey Nino for another shot.

Its really a good power to use on your own guys to give them an extra action.

Damn I hate Hamelin, I played a game where nearly danced half my crew off the table.
