Warden is definitely book 3. They really are great utility pieces, great with Hoffman with his Construct synergy, Lucius for his boosts to guardsmen or McCabe for the slow/paralyse spam, I like them...

How many Guild Hounds do you have as another pack of those can always be useful especially with McCabe and Lucius.

Yep, only the Master is fixed, you can change the crews as much as you like.
