+ GAME DESIGNER

Wyrd Miniatures, LLC. is currently looking for a full time Game Designer to work on new and ongoing projects. This position offers the opportunity to get involved in game design and development at an established game publisher. Successful candidates must possess a love of gaming, the initiative to push yourself to contribute, and the motivation to take on any tasks required. Game design experience is preferred, but not required.

This position is located in Marietta, GA.

Primary Job Duties

• Support our current games by creating new content, proofreading, and layout.
• Work on future game releases, including but not limited to working on rules, writing, editing, and assisting in component design.
• Interacting with the game community, and developing an understanding of our customers’ wants, wishes, and concerns.
• Assist at conventions and trade shows, including set up, demos, customer service, and breakdown.
• Other duties, as assigned, to assist in the office and warehouse, as needed.

Requirements

Understanding of a variety of game styles and mechanics including: miniatures, RPG, card, and board games.

The ability to identify what makes a game fun while also understanding what makes it work. Proven ability to write clearly and correctly, work independently as well as in teams, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.

Successful game design experience is a bonus.

+ CONCEPT AND CHARACTER ARTIST

Wyrd Miniatures, LLC. is currently looking for a freelance Concept and Character Artist. This position will be responsible for working with the Wyrd team to create the visuals for a new game line, including concept art for characters and settings. We are looking for a unique and compelling visual style.

As a freelance position, you will be able to work remotely and set your own hours, but you will be required to stay in regular contact with the team about your progress and deadlines.

Primary Job Duties

· Create a variety of art to bring new and old game lines to life.

· Stay in regular contact with the Wyrd team to ensure that all art is on target both conceptually and in terms of timeframe.

Requirements

The proven skill to draw both characters in a unique visual style. The ability to create characters in a style that matches our current game lines. A commitment to hitting deadlines and turning around requests in a timely manner. The ability to stay in regular contact with the Wyrd team. + ENVIRONMENTAL ARTIST

Wyrd Miniatures, LLC. is currently looking for a freelance Environmental Artist. This position will be responsible for working with the Wyrd team to create the visuals for environments for our various game lines, including concept art natural settings, locales, buildings, etc. We would prefer someone who is familiar with our game settings.

As a freelance position, you will be able to work remotely and set your own hours, but you will be required to stay in regular contact with the team about your progress and deadlines.

· Create a variety of art to bring game lines to life through the use of scenery, landscapes, and structures.

· Stay in regular contact with the Wyrd team to ensure that all art is on target both conceptually and in terms of timeframe.

+ MINIATURES PAINTER

Wyrd Miniatures, LLC. is currently looking for a full time Miniature Painter in our Marietta, Georgia office. This position will be responsible for the preparation, assembly, and painting of Wyrd miniatures to a very high level of detail.

Primary Job Duties

• Prepare and assemble various miniatures across the Wyrd lines
• Paint each miniature to a professional level, according to specifications
• Maintain an up-to-date and accurate database of painting status and images of completed works

Requirements

• The proven skill to paint miniatures to a high quality in a timely manner
• Occasional other office and warehouse duties, as required
