Become a Henchman

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Henchman! Our Henchman program is focused on supporting the community and its growth, and we couldn't do it without the Henchmen themselves. Take the time to familiarize yourself with the program, and if you are still interested fill out the application at the bottom of the page.

The primary goal of the Henchman program is to grow the community of people who play Wyrd games. It achieves this by providing our Henchmen support in the form of prize kits, t-shirts, and special access to the Wyrd team via the forum. This support is aimed at encouraging players to come to events and take part in the growing community of Wyrdos.

Because our Henchmen serve as our ambassadors to various communities and stores, we have high expectations regarding their behavior. Not only do we expect Henchmen to have a solid understanding of our games and products, but we also expect them to adhere to a code of conduct. We also require the game store or club you're holding events at to sign off on you as a Henchman.

As a thank you for supporting our games, we provide Henchmen with some sneak peeks and access to limited edition miniatures.

How It Works

Henchmen are required to run events on a regular basis (at least one a month is preferred). An event can include a tournament, league, campaign, or demo for Malifaux, or an official Wyrd adventure for Through the Breach. As part of this process, you will be required to submit information on your events to us both before and after the event.

Events may only be run at a game store, public club, or similar venue to be considered a part of the Henchman program. You are encouraged to use our official play documents to organize your events.

We, in turn, will provide you with Soulstones based on your event turnout. The more players that come to your events, the more Soulstones you are granted. Soulstones are the primary form of currency for the program; they are used to obtain support and other items available only to Henchmen. You can get a look at some of the things available to Henchmen here.

Over time, there may be changes and adjustments to the Henchman program. We are always looking for feedback and suggestions to improve, and we work with our Henchmen to ensure the community gets the support it needs.

What you Need to Know

Being a Henchman is entirely voluntary. Henchmen do not speak for Wyrd and are not Wyrd representatives. Henchmen may choose to join or leave the program at any time. As long as they are a part of the program, Henchmen will be held to the code of conduct. Wyrd may remove a Henchman from the program at any time and for any reason.

To become a part of the program, you need to have the following:

  1. Two fully painted crews
  2. A signed Code of Conduct
  3. A signed Non Disclosure Agreement
  4. A signed Event Location form

You can find all the required forms to the right. Once you have all the paperwork, you need to fill in the application below, attaching all the things listed above.

If you have any questions, please use the Contact section of the webpage. Additional information and details on all the policies can also be found on the Henchman-only forum.
