COOL STUFF! Even though that Grave Guy bears a striking resemblence to moi, the Copy Cat Killer & the Vulture are my favorites. :fing02:

Lots of nice stuff. I was very eager for the lamp posts, but GOOO.... 10 bucks for 4 of them...I was thinking it was gonna be around 5-6 when I saw it was gonna be a pack of 4, maybe 7 dollars at the high end....didn't see 10 dollars coming. May have to hold off on buying those.
Vulture? Vulture? Well la-de-freaking-da Mister Fancy Pants greenhorn from New Amsterdam. Lifers call that a Buzzard!

You were the inspiration for the paint job! :) You actually bear a striking resemblance to one of my uncles who has a long scraggly white beard.

WOW! The ONLY thing I normally inspire with my rugged good looks is gag reactions in Vultures & Hyenas...this is a MAJOR improvement...mostly. :sheep:

My friend is interested in adding Leveticus to his complement of Guild and M&SU minis, but he is waiting to get Levi, Alyce, and the Desi until the Abbies come out.
So here's my question... Is there going to be a Levi box? I've seen the art that would suggest there should be, and read one statement a while back that would suggest as much, but is that planned? And what would even be in the box? Leviticus, the Desolation Engine and... two Steampunk Abominations? Or Alyce and a Waif??? 2 Abbies and a Waif???

Wait a really long time for a box that may come out, after new models are released painted, printed and packaged and save a couple bucks...or buy what I can now and make do till the waifes and abominations come out...
Decisions decisions..

Decisions?! You can't make us make those!!!

We are working on Waifs and Abominations, but progress has been slow due to a few concepts that we wanted to improve. Of course the box won't be available until these key models are completed. It will still be several months at least.

OK then... has there been any talk of what will be in the Levi box? Or is that a secret to withhold gleefully? If I had to guess, based on a few other boxes with monstrous fellows in them, I'd say Leviticus, a Waif, 2 Steampunk Abominations, and a Desolation Engine. That just makes the most sense. Like the Ramos box, it gives you plenty of essential mooks that he needs to do his business (and at 18 SS, gives Levi 7 SS to take into battle), but leaves you wanting more as Alyce wouldn't be in the box! Evil-yet-profitable-business-practices... awaaaaaayyyy!!! :)
Also, I've been meaning to ask... this is way off in the future, but is there a plan to have more than two Soulless minis? Right now, there doesn't seem to be a point to Soulless, as Alyce is also a Construct, and the Waif is also Undead. Is it just a fluffy designation? Does it have to do with the fact that they don't care about wasting away in battle? Is it so Leviticus can legally be in his own crew without being a Construct or Undead? Will there be more Soulless things in the future with further benefits to being Soulless???

After being gone for over a month due to hardware "difficulties" it is great to be back on-line and see the new stuff that has come out in my absence! These new releases are fantastic!
I never saw the Engine like that but it is going to have to go into my Wish list now! Just wondering if the sculptor worked on any Rakham minis in the past? Or was maybe inspired by them?
I second the request for an Undead Paris to go with the ratdog. (I need one of them and a Vulture to keep Nico company on those cold nights in the wastes)
Great work Wyrd-ohs!!

I don't think you can do a Leveticus box without Alyce. It just wouldn't be right.

True that.
Although it would be nice if we could maybe get an hint?, an inkling? or a, a, man where's that thesaurus I've run out of words. Even an idea of some more upcoming minis would be sweet as.

There goes my spare time. Painting even more models.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the remote-controlled Leviathan, Ramos's steamboat (that really floats!), and a tickle-me-December are all due, as well as an epic resin bust of the steam-ant from the back of the book, and that's it.
Also, I'm pretty sure I made that up just now...?

I think its safe to say they will be out when they are out. Commiting to a date only opens themselves up for more badgering on that date if nothings out.
I'd kick back enjoy some of the "wicked egg nog that my cousin makes with lighter fluid" (name that movie) and paint what you have now. You know you have a massive pile of unpainted lead to work on...

i predicted the December release date is one that is between December 3rd and December 31...coincidentally both are on a Thursday...so It possibly will be on a day that ends with a "y".
Unfortunately that is all I got...on a sad note- I must wait until January to purchase minis, but that will be November and December releases (possibly January releases as well)!

I can wait for the Dec releases, but what I want to know is when another "spend a hundred dollars and get a special miniature" mini will be released. Any hints, Nathan? :D

I hope that mini doesn't change for a while... I'm still utterly depressed that when I support my LGS by ordering 120 bucks worth of minis that Warpath can't get me the same thing I could by circumventing my poor LGS owner and ordering directly from Wyrd. I see the business strategy behind it, but it's still super depressing!!! :(:(:(
I LOVE GREMLINETTE!!!!!!!! There, I said it...

I got my parcel a few days ago, but I didn't have time to pick it up from the post office until now. These models look even better in life then on the pics, the Vulture really is a monster. Thanks for the quick delivery and the rock candy. :D
( I feel such a lame that I had concerns, but this is because I had much bad experience... There's a french supplier who still couldn't deliver some things that I ordered more then 2 months ago. I am happy to see that the greater distance does not mean greater complications. )

Oh?
So there may not be a limited edition mini to replace it?
Its pretty much the same price ordering from Wyrd or our local game store.
Local stores will be much better once the US dollar springs back, though so I want our's to carry Malifaux.
Phoenix Forge is frantic trying to get all the stock out to the Aussie gamers picking up Malifaux here in Brisbane.
If you are stopping the limited edition minis (or letting them be distributed through suppliers) it would make sense.
Malifaux has a really tangible looks-pretty-me-want feel that would do well on a retail store shelf.
It also has the small game accessibility that would go well in a small independent store as a demo game.

The special edition miniature is a way for us to have a bit of fun and honestly is a marketing run for us as well (anyone saying otherwise would be less than truthful).
That said, we want to make certain the distributors and retailers are supported properly, which means not setting ourselves up to take the sales away from retailers. We'll always keep the online store open for the simple fact that not everyone has access to a store carrying Wyrd product, but at the same time we don't want to put ourselves in competition with retailers as it is at the retail level where Malifaux, or any game for that matter, needs to be grown with a consumer/fan base.
Will we offer website or convention only specials in the future - very likely, but not at the expense of distributors and retailers which we're working hard to cultivate in order to make certain that Wyrd product gets where it needs to.
