As you likely know by now, I haven't a single problem with advertising another companies product or specials and think it would be a nice place to pass along news to forum denizens and guests.
Usually I'm the first to advertise news and gossip here on the message boards, but lately I have gotten VERY busy with Wyrd, taking care of the company behind the scenes, getting ready for upcoming releases as well as our first convention and I am finding less and less time to do this as I would like and consequently folks are missing out on some interesting news that I think should be spread (anyone know about the new Privateer Press Paint or the Ravage Painting Contest? No? Yeah, sorry, was busy .. see what I mean?).
Consequently I'm looking for a Wyrd News Minion. Someone that is online quite a bit, has their ear to the pulse of the industry, visits a myriad of sites to gather news (even if you don't participate in them there) and take the time to report them here in our news section. This can continue in the manner that it currently has, with an individual thread for each subject, or perhaps turn it into something more, like a news report every couple of days. The choice is yours, and I'm open to ideas.
What do you get for the hard work and time? Free miniatures of course. For someone that is willing to take up the task and do a good job at it, I'll be more than happy to pass along some free miniatures for the efforts, either from what we currently have available or what is coming up. I'm looking for someone to keep up with the news for the long term, and considering we've got goodies coming out every couple of months, that means new toys in your post box when they are released.
If you are interested, please drop me a PM and we'll discuss it. In the event of several interested individuals, I'll select the one that I think will do the job best, or simply bribes me in the most amazing way.
