Well, here is my entry to the Wyrd contest. Hopefully better pictures.
I have about 25 hours in this thing. Not sure if that is a good thing or bad, but I had fun painting him. I admit I did get a little bit impatient towards the end.
It just comes down to the fact that as big and plain as his body is, it still has a bunch of small details and I was struggling with colors and such.
And then the photo problems. His blue skin did not like the blue back grounds, hence why even turning him slightly had huge affects with the picture results.
And lastly, I turned in too small of pictures for judging. For whatever reason I couldnt think to send in two on two stacked like this instead of the tiny 4 x 1 slots.
I know I still wouldnt have won, as the winners were definitely better and more appropriate, but at least I can say I am happy with my results and look forward to improving for next time.
