Will be going out soon - I could actually put a ton up on the store now but frankly I'm spending 7am to 10:30pm every night in the office/shop and we're just barreling through it so I figure we'll get it all out, then everything up.

So, I played my 2nd game last night. Like everyone else at RIW, I borrowed my Justice boxed set off Bowen and have a game against Mav man. I asked to play vs Lilith as she was one of the sets I'd considered. As the Neverborn swooped in on me with frightening speed, I thought "Man I'm hosed!"

That was until Justice got a bead on Lilith, who had gotten close enough, and cut her down in two swings.

Wow!

After that she dropped the big Nephilim and two of the tater tots as well. I lost 1 marshal and took some wounds from blood splatter ;)

I don't know that Mav is very familiar with Lilith. I think he's an Arcanist player. Even so, it was disgustingly one-sided. I had the impression that Lilith was much more melee capable, but she seems pretty tricksy, where Justice seems rather straight forward.

In all, I'm glad I chose the Justice set. I'm sure theres some beginners luck in there, or maybe I'm just getting baited in on demos... :P

Anyway, as soon as RIW actually gets some models....

It was definitely a one sided battle, but the noob is supposed to win the demo right? Ummm yeah, that's why I lost...really... or not. Ya know what though? Even though I got the stuffing slapped out of me,:whip: I still had a great time playing. As Dave and I keep saying, even a loss in this game is a ton of fun!

I've really enjoyed playing "everything" in the game so far, and although Dave and I played alot of games with all the factions, I haven't found any models that I don't like or think are junk. There are a few that don't seem to work well for me(i.e. Marcus) but I still think that every group has it's own merit and if played with confidence and skill will be successful at the end.

I'll give you a game with Ramos next time as he is my Master of choice, maybe it will be a little more of a challenge...:fight:
