Ok, I was perusing different mini companies and ran across a mini that looked familiar.

On the Doppleganger USA site, I found this:

It is listed as "DG70 Alison" on that Doppleganger site (www.warhawk.net/dopplegangerusa/index2.htm) under NUDES.
That really rang a bell, and so I looked at Hasslefree's site and found this:

Harem Girl.

They are the same miniature, are they not? I've never seen the same miniature listed at two different sites, as two seperate products.

Maybe it was sold, and there is nothing strange going on, but then again....

Huh the only mini on that site that doesn't suck happens to be an obvious theft from someone with talent.

Very weak.

I vaguely remember seeing something about this on the forum of doom with an explanation as to why there was a version of the harem girl being sold by another company.

I'm sure if you post over in the hasslefree forums, someone will give you an explanation.

The Predator is actually quite cool in real life (I have two of these). The picture is really bad and doesn't show some of the cool details. Sure the quality cannot compete with any of the bigger companies, but it is a nice dynamic model. The only things that needed work was the throwing disc and the skull hanging from its belt. They are lacking. But other than that he is quite cool.

But if you want a really cool Predator (also size-wise!)...use the new Totem Hunter from HORDES and sculpt a mask and dreadlocks for it...perfect Predator. Every other Predators I know aren't good enough (either too small like the Copplestones or the Ground Zero Games version), are stupid Limited Editions (like the one Excalibur made as a limited edition prize for their Fearless tournaments) or have rediculous weapons (The copplestones have some of the stupidest guns I have ever seen and the INAPs from Ainsty are even more silly with "Powerbats" and stuff like that).

If there is one guy VERY HIGH on my wish list...then it is a decent Predator of decent size (35-40mm high) and with cool weapons. That would be awesome and I would buy at least 10...

Hi,

I did not know that there were Predator minis available until this thread. Does anyone know if someone makes an Alien mini (the type from the Alien/Aliens movies)?
