"Where's the stock!?!"

We are getting asked this quite a bit lately and we figured we would give a quick update for everyone.

First and foremost, thank you. If you saw us at Gencon, or even were one of the folks who helped us get packaged up and out to or from the show, you'll know that we had a metric ton of stock on hand. Lots and lots and lots. We anticipated good things for Malifaux but even our wildest hopes didn't quite come close to the actual demand, and sure enough, between customer sales, retailers and distributors, we were cleared out before our caster was able to catch up to our new demands.

We should have everything back in stock between the 16th and 18th of September, hopefully sooner. We are receiving metal in pretty quickly at this point and it is being cleaned, sorted and packaged and we'll get it up on the site and out to everyone shortly after. Actually have a good bit of it on hand now, just wanting to get on top of it just a bit more before we set it loose.

Again, thank you very much for your interest and support in Malifaux and know that we're working as quick as we can to get everything back on hand.

Hey Nathan glad Gencon was such a great success! With my wife running her own business I can understand how tough it is to gauge stock and the "possible" rush for items that you have for sale! Sounds like you guys did your best and who wouldn't love to sell through their product when they think they have more than enough :D

I have been on the fence about your game. Yes, I know I have read good things on the board but between examples on the internet and the D6 Generation podcasts on your game (hey! be sure to send em some freebies for contests when they do a show special on the game for all the free advertising they are doing). ;)

I have decided to get my local game group to give Malifaux a try! They are not mini painters but the rules are what will sell this game to em!!

Give me till Thursday night, Friday morning. The load of metal we have is quite the chore to clean, sort and package. We're knocking it out in good order though with 14-15 hour days.

The good news is the rulebooks and fate decks are all back in the UK - and the box sets and mini's will be following in the next week or so.

Over the next few weeks we'll be boosting our stocks so we can distribute them constantly to the LGS over here and continue the malifaux mentalness

I've just ended up proxying everything - will have to keep doing it until the local store gets stock in (hopefully next week). They placed their order with Wyrd end of last week but haven't got confirmation back on it yet - hopefully it isn't lost in the aether (Games & Gizmos in Redmond, WA if you're looking Nathan ;)).

I got it, and it was invoiced this morning.

Everything is back in stock, including one package that went walk about on us that caused us a small delay. Its a LOT of metal, cleaning, sorting and packaging that takes a lot of time and I'm short about half a dozen folks for the undertaking.

Orders are being filled today and tomorrow, with upgraded shipping for anyone having to wait longer than normal (and there are a few) along with goodies as apologies. Distributors and Retailers have had a majority of their orders pulled and have either been mailed today or will be over the course of Saturday and Monday morning.

This also goes for Stat Card redemption and any mishaps that have occurred for one reason or another (punk zombie arm being the main issue).

For anyone having to wait, or having aggravation over the situation I can only apologize as well as thank you for your interest and patience. I also appreciate several of you PM'ing me on the hour by the hour asking 'is it up yet' but please folks, I'm not going to answer those as that just takes time away from the rest of my work.

I will put up stock on everything tomorrow night in the webstore. We have it all, I just want to make certain that we take care of back orders first, do another round of inventory, and then get everything up and running for those wanting to purchase through the website.

Awesome news Nate! Glad to see everyone getting their figs soon. I know our LGS placed an order for the entire line recently, so hopefully that shows up soon for our guys and gals that have been chomping at the bit to get some new toys!
