That said, I like this one overall. Like the shorter hair on her actually.

now that you point that filigree out, I looked more closely at the whole mini.

It doesn't look so much like he's casting a spell as having one cast on him. Notice his hand is turning to wood and there are vines climbing up his arm.
That could actually make a nice part to a diorama where he's being turned into a plant.

That's really sweet, the filligree looks appropriate on an elf. I'd have to file it of fthe wood, but still, quite nice. Any idea what size this is?

Just guessing, but maybe it's a vine crawling up the stump and the actual filigree is supposed to be a stylized echo of natural elements, like vines.
