I was at Michael's today getting some supplies for terrain making (how I wish they would stock styrene sheets) when I saw these in the Halloween section...

They are pretty close to scale so you can bet your collective butts that I'll be using them in some terrain for Malifaux.
(I would have just shown the pics instead of posting links but apparently I'm not that smart)

Ahhhh thinks man. My find at Michaels also got me thinking about what I already had stashed away. I forgot all about the bits that came in the Horrorclix starter set.

These are to scale with around 28mm(ish) so they should work ok too.

Yeah, I won't know if the skulls are going to work until my minis come in. They seem a bit big but if I recall the Malifaux minis are scaled bigger than usual.

Who's to say long ago giants didn't roam Malifaux? (well Nathan I suppose)

If there were no giants, there had to be mongoloids!

I think those will work great. I will have to hit my local store and see what they have. This game certainly has a Halloween type feel to it.

They used to have some really nice gothic fencing at Michaels around this time of year. I stopped in recently and found some that didn't quite look as good, but was workable.

That's the one thing I can't seem to find for my terrain that I'm making. No wrought iron fencing to be had at all.

I just bought these Rusty Old Fence by Lemax (http://www.ehobbytools.com/index1.html) at Michaels today. Of course I cant find them on Michael's site to link, but rest assured they've got them :)
The tombstones, above, were the real reason I went down to Michaels today. They were a tad big for my taste (as are the skulls, which is a shame because the bone bridge and fences are spot on, but the skulls themselves are just too ogre-sized to be really believable in 32mm). Not only were they a tad large, but they were illuminated, meaning $8 for the 4 of them...
Errr wait, upon closer inspection, the ones they had on the shelf were NOT the ones you have listed above. Whine...gotta go visit another store then...
/sigh

Yup, the ones I got were as simple as could be. $3 for a pack of 3 skull piles, non illuminated.

I meant the tombstones were illuminated. I will go back and check for the ones shown, above.

The tombstones are perfect, I picked up a few packs to make graveyards.

Think you could post some pics with models near the tombstones? I am worried that the ones I saw at Michael's were a bit too tall to make sense.

The beauty of tombstones is that they come in such a large range of sizes and shapes. Your minis should look just fine with them.

I posted some WIP pics with the mature Nephilim and Nicodem for reference.

Yeah our Micheals doesn't have much yet. Hopefully soon they will get mroe in. Right now I'm thinking popsickle sticks for a building. Does that turn out well?

I was considering the same question concerning construction of a building. I had the idea of Popsicle sticks or tongue depressors (which I can get from work) over a cardboard shell (also readily available from work).
