I really have a color composition question on this one. Do you think the light blue on the pixie wings work, or should I change it? What about the pixie dresses and hair.

Hello...is this thing on? :)
I am nearly done with her--my daughter's birthday is tomorrow so I will be finished whether I want to be or not. The wings have a ways to go, but other than some touchups and picking out a few highlights, Victoria herself is done. I tried to do a sheer effect, but at this point it is quite subtle and I don't think I will have time to make it more prominent. Besides, I wouldn't want it too racy for a five year old, right? :thumb: Any last minute suggestions?

Not sure how I missed this the first time around - sorry about that.
I quite like this, the colors are very vibrant and although I never would have thought to use them together, they really work (which just goes to show what I know of colors).
Your daughter is going to love it I'm sure.

It's an awfully cute mini (which means something I wouldn't touch... :vb_devil: ) but I like what you have done with it. The face is really good and the colour combination works very effectively. The purple, in particular, is a bit blotchy and if you have time maybe you could smooth it out with a couple of purple washes or so. But, still, the vibrant hue and quite small wrinkles makes you almost forget about this... Good work, and I agree with Nathan that your daughter is most likely going to like this (if she's like little girls are mostly... ;) ).
BTW, I also must have missed this one... :imsorry:

your girl is going to love it.........I painted this mini and it took me the longest time to figure out the round things on the base was a "fairy ring" of mushrooms...I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box sometimes. lol

Thanks everyone for your replies--I really value it. Really. This forum is quite close knit and has some amazing painters. I don't have a paint club that I can go to, so the feedback I get here is greatly appreciated. I know it takes a bit of time to type out some suggestions, but your critiques I take to heart! Now back to work...only 7 hours until the party :)
